Seriously. It's a cheap preservative/flavour... Many people don't have the money to avoid high-sodium foods, or access to them, or the knowledge to know how to avoid them... Because they are everywhere.<br /><br />Stress is a huge problem for many complex reasons. Trying to relax is easier said than done. We need to look at our society: why are so many people stressed?
